It has been twenty-five years since the first year of competitions in jumping into water from an extreme height took place in the quarry in Hřiměždice near Příbram. This year, the anniversary of this event will take place on August 2-3, and the organizers announce an exceptionally interesting program. Jumpers from all over the world will once again visit the quarry to perform breathtaking jumping from a height of up to 30 meters above the water level.

Highjump is exceptional due to its unique atmosphere and venue. The flooded granite quarry in the village of Hřiměždice is a unique environment for swimming and holding sports and cultural events. As part of the celebration, the organizers have prepared an enticing musical show, which they will offer to the audience on several stages. The main heroes of the program are rapper Yzomandias, the current star Rohony, rapper Rest with the band Champion Sound, legends of the domestic scene PSH, singer 7krát3 with a live band or DJs Matamar, TK27, Magenta, Roxtar and many others.

In the field of the Highjump race, many famous names appeared during the event. In the past, it was always about the absolute top of the world jumping as well as extreme freestyle jumpers who did not participate in the world series. This year too, jumpers from France, Austria, Germany, the United States and other countries will find their way to the Hřimeždice quarry. The program will include a race from several heights: the royal discipline of 20 meters, then jumps from 16 and 12 meters high jumping towers. “There will be something to look at again. The regulars of Highjump have already confirmed their participation, as well as new faces who will appear in Hřiměždice for the very first time,” says organizer Tomáš Kučera.

In addition to jumping competitions, a rich accompanying program will also be prepared. The stars of domestic and international rap heaven will play on the main stage, we will now take a closer look at their performances. During Friday and Saturday, visitors can look forward to the rapper Yzomandias from the label Milion+, another interesting name is the currently very popular performer Rohony. Among the regulars of the event is the group PSH, who will perform a traditionally great concert consisting of Orion, Vladimir 518 and DJ Mike Trafik. After last year’s success, visitors will see the performance of rapper Rest. This year he will perform with the live band Champion Sound, with whom he won the last Red Bull Soundclash. Another name on the music line up is the singer 7krát3, who will arrive with a live band. Fans of ska puck will be delighted by the SticX group.

The stars of the domestic DJ scene will play on the Desperados Dance Stage this year. On the stage, which will be found directly behind the jumping tower and the zone where visitors can enjoy a beer spiked with Desperados tequila, the duo Matamar will play, DJ Roxtar is preparing his show, and house music legend Chris Sadler, the winners of the Desperados DJ competition DJ no. 1 from previous years Viiito and Saxofrancis or the current winner of this race Theresia. Event regular DJ Friky will also be present.

The third music stage will be the Represent Pirate Stage. Fans of drum and bass or urban music will be welcomed there. DJ Magenta or DJ and rapper TK27, a member of the music group 58G, are already preparing their DJ set. Then DJ Rido or Ondrash. Another already confirmed name is dj Hellsmith.

As usual, a variety of refreshments will be prepared in the area. Because the organizers care that the visitors of the event eat well, they will open a spectacular food court in the area with international gastronomy from different corners of the world and other snacks. A tent town with sufficient sanitary facilities will be prepared for visitors.

Tickets for the 25th Highjump are on sale in the Ticketstream network, and the organizers recommend purchasing them in advance for a better price.
